Our Grade 2/3 Tap Classes
Fun and rhythm oriented, tap dancing emphasises both footwork and upper-body technique.
Tap has evolved and become popularised throughout the world, with a range of possible origins from African Dance, Irish Dance and/or Clog Dancing.
The dancers use their feet to strike the floor, beating out different rhythms, with dancers wearing shoes that have small metal plates on the toe and heel to give the distinctive sound.
Tap dance is often seen in theatrical productions.

Featured Testimonial
The Forristal School of Dance came highly recommended to us and it did not disappoint! Our 8-year-old has been introduced to beautiful music, learned how to compose herself and move gracefully all through a fun, easy-going, inclusive ballet programme.
I would highly recommend the school from children to teens of all abilities
